Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical integration planning for acquired companies — including discovery, solution design, migration sequencing, and cutover planning.  Apply appropriate integration solutions for the acquisition scenario – size, complexity, technology, processes.  Collaborate with engineers on migration plan and challenge when needed to produce the optimal outcome and achieve objectives with minimal risk. 

  • Coordinate technical workstreams across infrastructure, networking, cloud, end-user computing, and security teams.

  • Manage and execute migrations involving:

    • Email and collaboration platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365, Google Workspace)

    • File and data storage systems (on-prem and cloud)

    • Server and application environments (VMs, cloud services)

    • Network connectivity (firewall, AP’s, switches, audio/video)

    • End-user device standardization and deployment

    • ·         Project Management – Develops project schedule, identifies and tracks risks, manages project financials, maintains and communicates project status to stakeholders and works with appropriate IT Leaders to obtain resources needed for project work. 

      ·         Project Lifecycle – Manage project warranty period, which entails the transition from integrations to operation teams (e.g. – support), and any closure activities (trainings, carryover tasks, operational acceptance criteria). 

      • Serve as a primary liaison between IT leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams.

      • Identify and mitigate technical risks during integration, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.

      • Contribute to M&A playbooks and continuous improvement of integration processes and templates. Develop structured handover to operations including any technical documentation required on new technology or processes. 

      • Infrastructure Tasks – Assist engineers with backlog tasks with skills sets that can be used, in between integration projects, for both parent company and acquired entities. 

      • Required Qualifications

        • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).

        • 7+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 3 years in technical project management or M&A IT integration.

        • Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure: networking, servers, storage, Active Directory, and cloud platforms.

        • Hands-on experience with email and data migrations, preferably in Microsoft 365 or hybrid environments.  

        • Understanding of Active Directory, Entra and M365 identity management.

        • Familiarity with network design and security principles for multi-site integrations.

        • Proven ability to manage complex technical projects involving multiple stakeholders and vendors.

        • Highly organized individual that can use modern tools and methods to keep work on track. 

        • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

        • Certifications such as ITIL, or Azure/Microsoft 365 credentials
